Ivy Tech Community College and St. Vincent Health Ministries have partnered to create the new St. Vincent Clinical Education Center at Ivy Tech’s Anderson campus. The Center has eight immersive simulator labs designed to simulate a hospital environment, giving students in nursing, medical assisting, and other programs a hands-on patient care experience while they build clinical nursing and critical thinking skills.
The Center, designed by KRM Architecture, received an Indianapolis Design award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Design 27 provided a full technology design for this award-winning space with special focus on the simulator spaces equipment, mannequins, and supporting educational equipment.
