As part of the ongoing efforts to improve the campus experience Earlham College invested in renovating the main student dining hall. The renovation, designed by KRM Architecture +, creates an open layout that enhances the food service operations with multiple dining options. A variety of meal options are highlighted with bright colors and graphics to allow students, faculty and visitors to quickly navigate this rejuvenated space. Additional space includes flexible meeting space or a private dining room that was created adjacent to the main dining space that hosts a variety of campus and community events. The renovation received an ABC Construction Award in 2017.
Design 27 provided design of the technology systems which included digital signage, audio/visual systems, structured cabling and wireless networking.
