Earlham College

Center for Science & Technology

Originally built in 1972, Stanley Hall served as the center of sciences study for Earlham College. Today, the original 45,000 sq. ft. facility has been completely renovated. An additional 42,000 sq. ft. has been completed to create the Center for Sciences & Technology. The facility is a model for optimal collaboration between various science disciplines such as chemistry, biology, and biochemistry. Amenities include reconfigured labs and opportunities for students to research a wider variety of material.

Design 27 provided a full technology plan and design for the Center for Sciences & Technology. Additionally, our team worked with Earlham College to create its first ever Information Technology Standards for the campus. This was beneficial as the College had several projects in the works when we were commissioned to complete the standards, providing almost immediate positive impact.
